LSP Recruit

LSP Recruit is a Canadian executive search firm specialising in finance roles and private equity placements across Canada. The firm's partners possess over 25 years of recruiting experience focused on buy-side placements and have completed over 300 successful searches across analyst, intermediate, senior executive, and board-level positions. LSP was founded by Ling Shih and Rob Shih, both alumni of PwC who recognised a gap in the market for relationship-oriented, integrity-driven financial services recruitment. Ling brings 15+ years of experience in financial services recruitment and has built a strong reputation on Bay Street for her candour and friendliness.

LSP's methodology emphasises proactive, strategic, and metrics-driven search processes. Prior to commencing candidate screening, LSP advises clients on target candidate profiles to maximise the potential candidate pool. The firm sources candidates through its extensive network combined with robust research and outreach rather than relying solely on job postings. LSP personally interviews every candidate, developing insight into candidate strengths, weaknesses, and career aspirations. The firm maintains a 98 percent success rate and offers a full replacement guarantee if a hire does not succeed.

The company serves Canada's investment fund community and recognised financial services firms, developing long-standing relationships built on trust and candour. LSP has partnered with leading companies and investment funds to build teams from the ground up. Both founders bring deep financial services experience: Rob worked in private equity and equity research at OMERS Capital Markets and holds the CPA designation.
