Lookahead

Lookahead is a technical recruitment agency based in Sydney, Australia. It says it was founded in 2012, and its founder is Steve Gilles. The agency recruits software engineers, AI, machine learning and data specialists, product managers, designers, and technical leaders such as CTOs, VPs and engineering managers. Its recruiters come from technical backgrounds.

Lookahead works through permanent hiring, contract hiring, executive search and embedded recruitment, in which its recruiters run a client's hiring workflow from within the client's business. It also keeps a panel of senior engineers available on day rate contracts to help clients check that applications built with AI tools are properly architected and securely deployed.

The company says it has built its own candidate preparation platform and applicant tracking system, with a database of more than 40,000 candidates. After a placement it checks in at one week, one month, three months and six months. Its office is on Clarence Street in Sydney.
