About the Agency
Linx Talent Advisors is an organisational performance design company that began in the talent industry, complete with the standard guarantee that a hire who did not work out within ninety days would be replaced free of charge. The company argues that the guarantee actually admits the opposite of value, because it acknowledges upfront that a match might fail and shows that the whole model sits downstream of the real problem. Its position now is that a client does not have a talent problem but a role definition problem, and its work is to define what every role owns before anyone is hired, promoted or evaluated against it. Once the role is clear, expectations align, ownership is established and the right person becomes obvious.
That work is delivered through the Linx Role Architecture, a five part framework. It starts with the Defining Outcome, which anchors every role to organisational direction, then establishes value, impact and purpose to explain why the role exists. Core Ownership Areas define what the role protects and drives, tasks ground that ownership in observable and coachable work, and a behavioural benchmark is built against a role that is finally clear, so success is defined first and only then is the question asked of who is most likely to achieve it. The company also works beyond the hire, on the basis that every time a manager changes a team effectively restarts, standards shift and what was celebrated under one leader is criticised under the next. It calls this the New Manager Tax and treats it as organisational fragility that is almost entirely preventable, applying role clarity across hiring, onboarding, coaching, development, leadership transition and role evolution. It runs a dedicated private equity practice.
Most Linx engagements do not begin with an open position. They begin with a first-time leadership promotion, a business scaling fast where nobody knows where their lane ends, a pattern of good people struggling in post, the loss of a key leader, an acquisition that brought an inherited team, or a promotion decision where readiness is uncertain. Clients are invited to book the conversation, and enquiries go to [email protected].
