About the Agency
LifeWork Search is a full-service search firm that recruits in supply chain planning and procurement. It was founded in 2006, when Managing Director Jason Breault opened its office in Westport, Massachusetts, and it describes itself as a national firm. Its approach began in consumer products and food and beverage, and it says this has carried over into medical devices, pharmaceuticals and high-tech. It also names biotech, transportation, logistics and 3PL among the industries it serves.
The firm recruits for roles from individual contributor up to vice president level. These include demand planning and forecasting, sales and operations planning, supply planning, production planning, inventory planning, master scheduling, purchasing and procurement, materials management, 3PL sales and account management, fleet management, and warehouse and distribution centre operations. It says it works with companies from about $25 million to $20 billion in size.
The firm says its recruiters have worked within the supply chain themselves. It also publishes a blog and newsletters on hiring trends in the field.
