Level Plus

LevelPlus, also written Level+, is a programme that makes the recruitment of talents cadres in Geneva easier for local employers. It was initiated by the departement de l'economie, de l'emploi et de l'energie and, on its behalf, by the Office cantonal de l'emploi, the OCE. LevelPlus places a vivier of senior candidates at the disposal of Geneva companies and recruiters free of charge. Because it operates under a mission d'interet public, both the talent pool and the accompanying support cost the employer nothing, and the candidates it represents are available immediately.

The profiles LevelPlus handles are senior and cross-sector: cadres, ingenieurs and directeurs, described as highly qualified, together with managers and cadres dirigeants. It maintains a pool covering varied roles and sectors, and names marketing, communication, trading, shipping, supply chain, IT, finance, banking, ressources humaines and administration as the specific areas represented. The candidates it puts forward are experienced people whose careers and maturity make them experts in their fields, and the programme presents them as a route to valuable intergenerational transmission inside a hiring organisation.

LevelPlus works in Geneva, a market it describes as demanding, international and highly competitive, where identifying the right senior manager is no longer a matter of assessing skills alone but of reading the strategic, managerial and cultural stakes specific to organisations established in Suisse romande. Employers choose the programme for three reasons it sets out itself: access to highly qualified executive profiles, recruitment that is responsible and engaged because using LevelPlus contributes concretely to the employment objectives of the Etat de Geneve, and a free service delivered in collaboration with the OCE. Each candidate is followed individually and in depth, which the programme argues gives it a precise knowledge of their profile and competencies and therefore the best possible matching against an employer's needs.
