Lester Blades

Lester Blades is a Western Australian executive search and board advisory consultancy, established in 2002 and based in Perth. It is a division of Buckner Fairbairn Advisory Group Pty Ltd. It works for employers who retain it exclusively, and says it has completed more than 3,000 executive and board appointments since 2002, with over 98% of its retained executive search assignments completed.

Its services cover executive recruitment, non-executive director appointments, government and not-for-profit recruiting, interim management and remuneration reviews, along with a board advisory service led by partner Suzanne Ardagh. The roles it fills include CEOs and managing directors, C-suite and divisional executives, and senior functional and line managers. Its stated sector expertise includes banking and financial services, energy and resources, FMCG, infrastructure, property and construction, and government and utilities.

The firm was founded by Tony Lester and Geoff Blades and has eight partners. It is a founding member of the Alliance of Executive Search Advisors, a global association of independent executive search firms.
