Lead Candidate is a pharmaceutical and life science recruiting company that works only in the pharma and biotech outsourcing space. It serves CROs, CDMO/CPOs and other pharma services firms, and says it specialises in the global drug development and manufacturing sector.
Its clients are developing and scaling contract services companies. The company says it does not take on one-off projects and instead works on an always-on model suited to growing firms in the pharma and biotech supply chain. It also represents individual candidates, whom it says it assesses and coaches for roles in the sector rather than sending their CVs speculatively to many companies.
Lead Candidate was co-founded by three people: two entrepreneurs who spent their careers growing companies in the pharma and bio supply chain, and a talent specialist. Andrew Mears is CEO and co-founder. The team also includes a US-based Vice President with a decade of executive search experience.
