Known is a technology recruitment business based in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane. It helps Australian businesses, including startups and scale-ups, build tech teams, and names software engineering and development as its area of recruitment expertise.

It offers several engagement models: a percentage fee hire agreement paid on placement, contractor hiring with payrolling, an embedded fixed monthly cost model for clients with multiple hires over 3, 6 or 12 months, and project work to build up a client's talent acquisition function. It says it relies on its network, referrals and proactive sourcing of passive candidates rather than job boards, and reports that 82% of the candidates it hired came from a referral in its network.

Known was co-founded by Elliott Bradley, its principal technology recruiter, and Mary Wright, a talent acquisition leader with in-house and agency recruitment experience.
