Kinexus

Kinexus is a recruitment business with roots in the Australian defence sector. It was founded in 2001 as Kinetic Recruitment by Raj Kutty and says it was Australia's first agency dedicated to defence engineering and technical recruitment. It later rebranded as Kinexus and turned 25 in 2026.

The company recruits for defence, ICT and security-cleared ICT, intelligence and national security, engineering, and nuclear and emerging capability. It works with Commonwealth agencies, defence primes and SMEs. Its services cover permanent, contract and project-based recruitment, workforce planning, recruitment process outsourcing, and bid and tender workforce support. It also helps veterans moving from the ADF into industry roles.

Kinexus is DISP accredited and provides security clearance sponsorship at Baseline, NV1 and NV2 level. It has offices in Melbourne and Sydney. It also founded and administers The Future Through Collaboration, a cross-industry mentoring program for women in defence and industry, launched in 2015.
