Kin

Kin is a recruitment business with offices in Wellington and Auckland. It says it does recruitment differently by putting people at the centre of the process, with close partnerships with clients and a good experience for candidates.

Kin works solely on a time and materials basis and says it has done away with commission-based candidate placement fees. Its recruitment process runs in three steps: scope, search and select. Beyond recruitment, it offers strategic talent services, including market mapping, training workshops for hiring managers and internal recruitment teams, and targeted approaches to candidates who are not actively in the market. It also runs career coaching modules for employees whose roles have been disestablished, delivered one to one or in small groups.

Clients quoted by the company include Volunteering New Zealand, Snapper and The Sunrise Project.
