Keeper Recruitment

Keeper Recruitment is a specialist accounting and finance recruitment agency based in Moorabbin, Victoria. It works exclusively in accounting, finance and finance systems, serving the Melbourne finance market and the wider ANZ region, and recruits nationally across Australia and New Zealand.

Its work is organised into six disciplines, each led by a senior consultant: senior finance, qualified accounting, finance systems, accounting support, treasury and tax, and public practice. Roles include CFO, Financial Controller, Finance Manager and Payroll Manager. In finance systems it recruits ERP and govtech specialists across TechnologyOne, Workday, Acumatica and IFS, and it runs a national TechnologyOne practice. It handles permanent, interim and executive briefs as well as contract placements, for SMEs, ASX-listed corporates, global subsidiaries and not-for-profits.

The agency was started by its director, Ben Wilkie Smith, who says he has worked in finance recruitment for more than ten years. It presents shortlists of three to five candidates, and it says 80% of its placements are still in role after three years.
