Kairos

Kairos is a recruitment business based in Melbourne that works with startups, scaleups, impact-driven and founder-led businesses. It was founded in 2023 by Megan Luttrell, who previously worked in enterprise recruitment, and it hires across Australia and New Zealand.

Its services include permanent hiring, run as an employer-brand-led search for roles from first hires through to leadership, and offshore hiring, an Australian-run search for talent in the Philippines with fees capped at A$8,000 and a three-month replacement guarantee. It also places fractional leaders for a few days a week and offers employer brand work such as founder-led video, photography and brand strategy. It says its fees are stage-based, from 12%.

Luttrell also runs the Aussie Founders Club, a community that Kairos says has more than 4,000 founders, operators and startup people across Australia. Through it, Kairos publishes The Startup Shortlist, a weekly newsletter of startup roles and hiring insight.
