Jackson Barnes Recruitment is a specialist recruitment consultancy for the B2B events industry, working across the media, events and publishing sectors. It recruits conference producers, event marketers, sponsorship, delegate and exhibition sales professionals, and event operations teams for businesses that own and run conferences, exhibitions, trade shows and summits. Its clients include start-ups, privately owned and global organisations, among them SME and founder led organisers and private equity backed groups.

The company was established in 2010 and was founded by Helen Yarrow, who has nearly 30 years of recruitment experience, around 15 of them recruiting exclusively for B2B events businesses. It works predominantly on permanent roles, from graduate up to Managing Director level, on contingent, exclusive or retained terms. It runs retained assignments for senior or hard to fill roles, including confidential searches.

It has a head office in Framlingham, Suffolk, and an office in Farringdon, London. London is its largest market, and it also recruits across the UK, Europe and Asia Pacific and is expanding into New York. It publishes industry insights, surveys and reports, and a newsletter, The JB Edit.
