J. Sheppard Associates is a New York City legal recruiting firm that places attorneys with law firms and companies. It says it has worked for more than two decades, and describes its origins as a relationship-driven legal search practice.

Its attorney search work covers attorneys, partners, executives and other professionals. It represents attorneys and professionals pursuing new opportunities and helps employers identify talent. Its clients include mid and large sized law firms, specialised boutiques, corporations, financial institutions and professional-services organisations.

The firm also runs a multigenerational workforce advisory practice.
