She served as a two-term state president of the Pennsylvania Association of Personnel Consultants and three years as government affairs chairman for the state of Pennsylvania. In 1983 she was awarded the Certified Personnel Consultant designation, expanding her knowledge base in employment law, changing regulations, business practices and highest ethical standards. Due to her dedication to the employment industry, she was awarded the Pennsylvania Association of Personnel Consultants' highest honour, the Presidents Award.
