International Staffing Consultants

International Staffing Consultants is a US recruitment firm that has filled jobs in North America and overseas since 1979. It says it focuses on staffing expatriate and international roles, including placing North Americans in overseas jobs, and it also helps global firms staff their overseas offices. It works as an employer-paid contingency search firm and says it never charges candidates fees.

It reports filling positions in marketing, sales, information technology, engineering, architecture, construction, project controls, estimating, human resources, finance and accounting, and medical and scientific fields. Roles range from craftsmen and technicians to engineers, construction managers, plant managers and executive management. Its clients have included small private firms, foreign and domestic government agencies and large private employers.

Besides recruitment, the company provides Employer of Record and international payroll services, hiring workers locally as its employees on behalf of clients, and says it can employ workers in over 100 countries. It is based in Laguna Beach, California, and belongs to the NPAworldwide and Top Echelon networks of employment agencies. James R. Gettys founded the company in 1979 and continues to direct it.
