Interim Lawyers is an online locum platform for the legal sector, operated by Ten-Percent.co.uk Limited and part of the Ten Percent Group. It introduces office-based and remote working solicitors to law firms, in-house legal departments and businesses. The consultancy was established in April 2000 by directors Jonathan and Clare Fagan, and it describes itself as privately owned. Interim Lawyers was developed in 2010 as a separate locum service, and Jonathan Fagan is the director responsible for it.
It supplies locum solicitors, licensed conveyancers and legal executives, as well as legal cashiers, fee earners, law firm managers and directors. Assignments range from one week of holiday cover to 12 month maternity cover, and include sickness cover and ongoing consultancy work. It says it keeps a bank of more than 1,500 locums and usually sends CVs by email within 60 minutes of an assignment being registered. It covers all fields of law, mainly residential conveyancing, wills and probate, commercial property, commercial litigation, corporate and commercial, family law and in-house legal counsel.
The company works across the UK and offshore. Its head office is in Mold, with further offices in London, Brighton, Bristol, Coventry and Glasgow.
