It fills both permanent and contract assignments, and also offers search, virtual recruitment and a consulting service, INSIDE Consulting, which works with organisations on their purpose and structure.

The company was founded in 2009 by Troy Turner and Dale Gray, who remain directors, shareholders and employees. Mat Kearney joined in 2020 as a director and shareholder of INSIDE Consulting. It has offices in Wellington and Auckland, and says its staff are based around the country.

INSIDE works with both clients and candidates, including people looking for short-term contract roles or permanent positions. It says its team has recruited people for organisations across all industries in New Zealand.
