iMPact Business Group

iMPact Business Group is a staffing agency based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, with a second office in Tampa, Florida. It was founded in 2004 by Matt Peal and Mike Trewhella, who had worked together for nearly a decade at a national firm. Trewhella retired in 2019.

The company recruits for information technology, engineering and manufacturing, finance and accounting, and business administration roles such as HR, marketing and administration. It fills contract, contract-to-hire and permanent direct hire positions, and also offers staff augmentation, project-based work, and contingent and retained search. Remote roles are included.

It says its recruiters and account managers previously worked in the fields they recruit for, and that it uses a behavioural interview process with both candidates and clients. The company serves clients and candidates nationwide, and reports placing more than 6,000 professionals across more than 40 states.
