Huntress

Huntress is a UK recruitment agency that specialises in business support, accountancy and finance, HR and procurement roles. It was founded in 2000 and places candidates into temporary, contract and permanent positions. It works with both SMEs and corporates across the UK.

Its head office is in London, with further offices in Maidstone, Crawley, Bracknell and Leeds covering Kent, Sussex and Surrey, Thames Valley and West Yorkshire. Chris Leeson is chief executive and joined in 2014.

A Workforce Solutions team provides managed service provider, recruitment process outsourcing and high-volume hiring programmes. The company has established three specialist brands, Merrifield Consultants, Birchrose Associates and Nextgen Teachers, and Birchrose Associates expanded into the US in 2025. Huntress is also an approved supplier on public sector frameworks, including Procurement Services Y25007 and the Government Commercial Agency Supplier agreement, covering permanent, temporary, interim and contract recruitment.
