Hoppler Consulting is a Swiss Personalberatung whose mission is stated in two words, Stark machen, making its clients strong. Cornelia Hoppler founded the company in Zürich in 2006, after a long period in middle and senior management roles that gave her insight into a range of industries and company sizes and led her to take the step into self employment. The business offers consulting services in personnel matters, Personalberatung and ad interim solutions, covering both external support and internal cover, and that expertise together with an extensive network built and maintained over years is what the company calls the foundation of its success. Its performance promise is set out plainly: strong in advice and experienced in organisation and operational delivery, quick to grasp a situation and empathetic in approach, and personally committed with the availability to match.

In recruitment the specialisation is Finance and IT. Hoppler Consulting fills all positions up to and including Geschäftsleitung level, particularly for financial institutions, family offices and the IT industry, drawing on wide knowledge of the organisation of private banks, family offices and globally active financial institutions. In wealth management it places back office staff, front assistants, relationship managers, team heads, Bereichsleiter and risk managers, and it also covers portfolio management, advisory, tax, legal and compliance. In information technology it fills roles from sales and pre-sales through technical and managing consultants to applications and systems engineers, from young IT talent to experienced specialists. A research team runs targeted headhunting searches and direct approaches, which gives access to candidates who never appear on the open job market, and family office assignments are handled with the sensitivity and discretion that segment demands. The process runs through an environment and needs analysis and candidate profile, an industry specific search with interview process and pre-selection, a closely managed application and hiring stage, and support for the appointed candidate through to the end of the probation period.

Hoppler Consulting works from Zürich and publishes its site in German and English. Alongside recruitment it provides HR-Management ad interim for capacity shortages of any kind, covering restructurings and redundancies, HR projects, cover for maternity leave, military service, illness, accidents and sabbaticals, and the evaluation and build of new IT based HR systems. Its HR ad hoc support handles day to day operational work including employment contracts and references, the termination process, salary structures, social insurance and international personnel matters. For expatriates, Cornelia Hoppler founded Schmid und Hoppler Relocation Services in 2015 with her business partner Sandra Schmid.
