Hird Consulting A/S is a recruitment and HR bureau in Copenhagen that helps Nordic start-ups, scale-ups and SMV'er find the right talent and build the internal processes that support long term growth. The name carries the intent: Hird means fellowship and support, which is what the company says it wants to give its clients and candidates. It combines years of recruitment experience with HR expertise so that clients can concentrate on running and developing their business while Hird finds and retains the people who lift it. Anna Fast Nilsson started the company in 2020 with the aim of creating a recruitment bureau aimed specifically at start-up and scale-up businesses in the Nordics, and what began as one person's vision is now a team of twelve.

The work splits into two services. Rekruttering finds candidates for start-ups, scale-ups and SMV'er quickly and efficiently, with respect for both competencies and culture. HR-services runs from HR strategy through to daily operations, with tailored solutions intended to strengthen the client organisation. Every process is handled by partners rather than by standardised systems. The company's published cases name the clients: Sandra Meiling, CSO at Bundgaard, says Hird understood quickly what they were looking for and approached the recruitment process with professionalism and care; Nicolai Suwinai Nielsen, co-founder and CEO of OLIOLI, says Hird recruited three important roles successfully; and Steven Ross, COO at FORMARKIVET, says recruitment for Hird is about building the right team rather than filling a role.

Hird Consulting works from Wildersgade 41 in Copenhagen K and recruits across the Nordics and international markets, which it says lets it account for cultural and business differences wherever a client is based. The team includes recruitment managers, recruitment associates, a business development manager and a marketing specialist, alongside partner Maria Krysfeldt Rasmussen, who joined in 2024 when the HR services line was added.
