HIPselect

HIPselect is an independent recruitment and selection agency in the Netherlands that focuses on purchasing and procurement staff. It fills the usually more difficult purchasing vacancies, for experienced and talented candidates with a higher professional education (HBO) or university degree, in both the public and private sectors.

The roles it recruits for include purchasing managers, contract managers, category managers, tender specialists, purchasing specialists and purchasing data analysts. It says its former purchasing managers at C-level help select candidates, and that its consultants have been active for more than 20 years. Marc Brugman is managing partner.

Its process starts with mapping the vacancy with the client and writing the job text. It then approaches its candidate network, advertises on job boards and social media, and contacts candidates directly. It also advises clients on the market and on adjusting profiles for roles that are difficult to fill. The head office is in Capelle aan den IJssel, with further offices in Groningen, Eindhoven, Amstelveen and Apeldoorn.
