Heights Recruitment

Heights Recruitment is a recruitment agency that places trade-qualified workers, technical specialists and leadership hires with businesses across the South Island of New Zealand. It has offices in Christchurch and Dunedin and says it recruits throughout New Zealand. It handles both permanent and contract placements.

Its sectors are construction, electrical, engineering, and civil and infrastructure, along with sales, commercial, project and leadership roles in construction and technical businesses. In construction it recruits site managers and foremen, project and construction managers, quantity surveyors and estimators, carpenters and builders, and contracts and commercial managers. Its clients include residential, commercial and industrial builders.

Heights was built by director Cody McMullan, who was born and raised in Dunedin and entered recruitment in 2017. The company says it spends time on sites, in workshops and with clients to understand their businesses. Tom Sweeney and Cory Richards are part of its senior leadership team.
