Hays is a specialist recruitment and workforce solutions business that connects organisations with professionals. It focuses on six talent markets: Technology, Accounting and Finance, Engineering, Construction and Property, Life Sciences, and Human Resources. Its recruitment services cover permanent, temporary and contract roles.

Beyond recruitment, Hays offers workforce solutions including Managed Service Program (MSP), Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO), direct sourcing, statement of work services, vendor management systems and project services. It says it combines specialist consultants, real-time market insight and technology to match candidates to roles, and that it fills around 1,000 roles every working day.

In the United States Hays has nine offices. David Brown has overseen its US operations since 2018 and is Americas President and Chief Executive Officer USA. The company also has a Construction and Property business in Canada.
