Halliwell Consulting

Halliwell Consulting is a recruitment and staffing firm that matches candidates to jobs. It provides permanent placement, executive recruitment and temporary staffing.

It recruits in industries including aerospace, automotive, engineering, food and beverage, machining, maintenance, mining, plastics and moulding, printing, and pulp and paper. Its job categories cover engineering, manufacturing, skilled trades such as electricians, millwrights and CNC machinists, and support staff in finance, accounting, IT and human resources.

For clients, it says it screens candidates using behavioural interviewing techniques, specific testing and reference checks, keeps the search confidential and offers a guarantee period. In its temporary service it takes on payroll responsibilities such as source deductions and workers' compensation, for projects lasting from one week to one year. George Halliwell is its president.
