GWR Legal Recruitment is a specialist recruitment agency that works only in the legal sector, serving both law firms and legal professionals. It is based at Cheadle Royal Business Park in Cheadle.
The agency places lawyers and support professionals at all levels, from entry-level positions to partner roles, across a range of practice areas. Its clients include national law firms, Legal 500 regional practices and high street firms. For employers it handles one-off hires as well as the building of entire teams, working on a contingency basis so that employers pay only when it delivers a hire. Candidates are supported from CV preparation through to securing a role.
Greg Whittaker, the recruiter behind the business, began in legal recruitment in 2014 after five years as a litigator in private practice law firms. The company is registered in England and Wales as GWR Legal Recruitment Ltd.
