Great People Recruitment

Great People Recruitment is a privately owned recruitment business based in Cambridge, in the Waikato region of New Zealand. It works with small, medium and large businesses and not-for-profit organisations in the Waikato and across the country, placing candidates in permanent and fixed-term contract positions.

The roles it fills include executive and leadership posts such as General Manager and CEO in healthcare, arts, not-for-profit and sporting organisations; finance and accounting roles in CA firms and commercial settings; operations, marketing, sales and business support roles, including in tech and manufacturing companies; healthcare, community and not-for-profit roles; and specialist technical positions such as developers. It offers end-to-end recruitment or support at specific stages, and works with outside specialists on psychometric and skills testing. Candidates can also receive career coaching, including CV and cover letter development.

The company is led by founder and director Linley Steele, who has over 30 years of experience in recruiting staff and developing teams and began her career as a registered nurse, and by director and business manager Mike Steele, whose background is in finance and chartered accountancy.
