Grassroots Recruitment is a technical recruitment agency based in Manchester, covering Engineering, IT, Scientific and Technical Sales roles. It works with business owners, hiring managers and HR teams, and fills both permanent and contract positions.

Engineering work spans mechanical design, installation and service, fire and security systems, air filtration and HVAC, quality assurance and project management. The IT side covers networking, cyber security and defence. Scientific recruitment covers chemistry, life sciences, materials and medical devices, and technical sales covers pre-sales, SaaS, business development managers and sales directors. It also produces hiring insights reports on candidate availability, salary benchmarking and competitor activity.

Caroline Patten and Richard Brown founded the company in 2008, and Steven Byrne joined in 2015. It says it has an international client base and over 100 years of combined team experience. It reports ISO 9001:2015 certification and APSCO accreditation. Its work covers the UK, with a local focus on Stockport and Greater Manchester.
