Goodhire

Goodhire is a domestic helper agency based in Singapore. It helps Singapore families hire domestic helpers and maids, and says it has helped thousands of families and helpers through the steps of hiring and employment. It is owned and operated by Jobs and Staff Pte Ltd, is licensed by the Ministry of Manpower and holds accreditation with the DMW (Department of Migrant Workers).

Its main services are direct hire, for employers who have already found a helper, and agency hire, where it recruits and matches a helper to the family's needs. Direct hire covers helpers already in Singapore as well as helpers in the Philippines, Indonesia and Myanmar. Agency hire covers transfers within Singapore and helpers in the Philippines and Indonesia. It also handles work permit renewals and home leave paperwork for Philippine helpers.

Goodhire says it never charges fees to domestic helpers. Its story begins with founder Jude, who found that a helper he hired had been charged eight months of her salary by the agency that placed her. Jude has over six years of experience in the recruitment industry. Goodhire is an investee of Honest Jobs, an incubator of ethical recruitment agencies across Asia, and is a member of the Association of Employment Agencies (Singapore).
