Gig Healthcare is a healthcare staffing company based in Buffalo, New York. It places clinicians in travel, local, per diem and permanent roles, and serves hospitals and health systems, schools and education systems, long-term care and skilled nursing facilities, and government care. Its popular specialties include ICU, ER, OR and Med-Surg, and it also staffs allied health and school-based roles. Travel assignments run for 13 weeks across the country.

The company was formed in New York in 2023 by two staffing operators who had led workforce and MSP programmes, including FEMA deployments and state health department crisis response. Brendan Tobolski is co-founder and CEO, and Brittany Persutti is co-founder and Director of Operations. It describes itself as privately held and founder-owned.

Gig Healthcare runs GigOS, a software platform that connects recruiting, credentialing, communication, rates and reporting. It says it uses automation and AI for administrative work, and that every candidate speaks with a recruiter and a client relationship manager before submission. Each posting shows the full weekly pay package before a clinician applies, and clinicians can keep working with other agencies. It reports a network of more than 20,000 healthcare professionals.
