About the Agency
gforce employment + recruitment is a for-purpose community organisation offering recruitment, apprenticeship and employment services in Victoria. It was founded in 1983 as Geelong and District Group Apprentices, a not-for-profit Group Training Organisation set up to address youth unemployment in the northern suburbs of Geelong, and took its current name in 2021.
Its recruitment services cover executive and permanent recruitment, and labour hire for short-term casual needs. It recruits and on-hires apprentices and trainees to host employers and runs school-based traineeships. Its employment services include Inclusive Employment Australia, for people living with a disability, and NDIS employment supports for young people with disability in their final years of school and directly after leaving. The Australian Government has selected it to deliver Inclusive Employment Australia as a specialist youth provider for the Geelong and Eureka regions.
It says it services communities across Victoria, with offices in Geelong, Ballarat and other towns, and outreach offices by appointment in Ararat, Colac and Drysdale. It joined forces with MEGT on 1 July 2025. Robyn Stevens was appointed chief executive from 10 December 2025.
