G2 Solutions is a technology recruiting firm focused on software engineering, data engineering, cyber security and cloud and infrastructure roles. Its team also recruits in data science. Mike Strickland, whose title is Chief Talent Officer, says he started the company to bring modern sourcing technology and tooling into recruiting. The company uses digital recruitment technology so that its recruiters can spend more time on personal work with clients and candidates.

Clients are taken through a proprietary eight-step process called the G2 Intelligent Delivery System: discovery, data mapping, engagement, a screening stage called the Sieve, interview, delivery, onboarding and retention. Sourcing is built on a database of candidates who are open to a move but not actively searching. Shortlists come with candidate profile summaries, pre-submittal references and pre-recorded video interviews. After a hire, the company holds informal check-in interviews through the first 12 months.
