About the Agency
Frey Recruitment is an international super yacht crew agency, owned and operated by Charlotte Oddshammar and Gemma Cox. It places crew on yachts and in luxury villas, and says it aims to match candidates' skills and aspirations to the needs of the vessel.
The two owners say they bring 30 years of combined experience working as crew in the maritime industry. Oddshammar grew up in Sweden and spent 12 years sailing and cooking aboard super yachts and in luxury villas before settling in Mallorca to start a family. Cox grew up in Scotland and has worked as a chef and running the interior on private and charter yachts, including managing interior refits and organising regatta logistics.
The agency fills roles such as captain, first mate, engineer, chef and stewardess, including rotational positions. Crew can register with the agency, and yacht owners and captains can use it to find crew.
