Freestar

Freestar is a Swiss group of companies working in IT staffing and personnel services. The Freestar Gruppe comprises Freestar-Management AG as the holding company, Freestar-Informatik AG, Freestar-People AG and Freestar-Consulting AG, with Freestar-Services AG and Freestar-Academy AG as two further sister companies that also trade independently in the market. Freestar-Informatik AG was founded in 1998 by the twin brothers André and Roger Rindlisbacher, with the idea that alongside the existing IT project business there should be a professional, free and creative working environment for IT specialists. The name free star was chosen deliberately, and the slogan "wir halten was wir versprechen" has shaped the company for more than 20 years. Its stated values are personal responsibility, loyalty, appreciation, flexibility and professionalism.

The group's work is concentrated on IT and on the administration around employment. It provides IT personnel consultancy with a varied IT services portfolio, and the hiring out and placement of IT specialists and managers. It develops new IT talent and qualifies specialists and managers through a trainee programme for people starting in IT or moving across from another field, together with IT further training. It places and hires out specialists and managers more broadly, including interim management and payrolling. It also handles wage and personnel management, covering payroll accounting, personnel administration and HR outsourcing.

Freestar works from Bösch 82 in Hünenberg and can be reached by telephone and email. The group grew steadily from its founding: Freestar-Consulting AG followed two years after the first company, Freestar-People AG in 2001, Freestar-Services AG in 2014 and Freestar-Academy AG in 2015. Today the five Freestar companies count more than 40 internal employees and more than 200 people deployed on client projects. Recent company news marks 25 years of Freestar-People AG and a new HR life cycle offering, and the group also advertises its own internal vacancies.
