Fortus Recruitment supplies blue and white collar workers to the built environment, on both a temporary and permanent basis. It recruits nationally across the UK and is based in Buckhurst Hill. Its work is split into four sectors: property services, construction, fire safety, and facilities and building services.

In property services it works with contractors, housing associations, local authorities and non profit organisations on home improvements, placing multi trade operatives, supervisors, site managers and contract managers. Its construction division covers housing development, education and high end fit out projects, with placements from labourer to director level. In fire safety it partners with specialists across the housing and commercial sectors, including consultancies, SMEs and national contractors, for roles such as FRA operative and fire safety surveyor. The facilities and building services division works with FM contractors on hard and soft services, as well as hotels, hospitals and universities, recruiting electrical and multi skilled engineers, office staff and estates and facilities managers.

It says its consultants have over 30 years of combined experience recruiting nationally in the built environment. It also offers on site recruitment days, project mobilisations and day to day recruitment solutions.
