Fortify Experts

Fortify Experts is a U.S. cybersecurity advisory firm founded in 2014 by Tim Howard and headquartered in Houston, Texas. Alongside vCISO and AI governance advisory and framework assessments, it offers retained executive search for security leaders.

The search practice focuses on cybersecurity roles: chief information security officers, deputy CISOs, directors and managers, security architects and engineering leaders, and governance, risk and compliance leaders. It says it draws on a network of more than 5,000 security leaders and offers a five year guarantee on CISO placements. Howard spent more than 15 years running executive search firms before founding the company.

It serves organisations across the United States, mostly remotely and on site when an engagement calls for it. Its sister company, Fortified360, designs and operates secure workspaces, browser isolation, secure AI access and OT secure remote access.
