FinTalent is a specialist executive search firm for lending roles in the mortgage and finance broking sector, covering positions from broker to head of lending. It was founded by Joe Shephard and is run from Melbourne, working with businesses across Australia. It says mortgage and finance broking is the only field it covers.

The roles it fills include mortgage brokers, commercial finance brokers, residential and commercial credit analysts, credit managers, heads of lending, senior CSM roles and BDMs, as well as development, asset and equipment finance brokers. It works with businesses that are hiring and with individuals considering their next move.

It says it takes on a handful of briefs at a time, and that Joe Shephard runs every search himself through eight stages, from discovery meetings to check-ins after a hire has started. It reports 54 people placed across six role types.
