FID Uitzendbureau is a staffing agency that now operates as a specialisation within Covebo, a larger European staffing provider, under the name Covebo Productie en Logistiek (Production and Logistics). As of 2025, FID's three separate locations have been integrated into the Covebo structure: the Emmen office merged with Covebo Hoogeveen, the Amersfoort location became a new Covebo centre incorporating staff from Bunschoten, and the Oosterhout office became Covebo Oosterhout. The integration aims to provide more efficient, professional and stable staffing services whilst maintaining personal client relationships.

FID specialises in four core sectors: bouw (construction), logistiek (logistics), productie (production) and techniek (technical and mechanical work). The company recruits across roles including assemblagemedewerker (assembly worker), heftruckchauffeur (forklift driver), productiemedewerker (production operator), lasser (welder), timmerman (carpenter), schilder (painter) and technisch monteur (technical mechanic). The company also offers zelf-zzp (self-employed contractor) placements.

Following its integration into Covebo, FID benefits from Covebo's broader scale, expertise and network across the Netherlands and international markets (including Poland, Spain, Romania, Lithuania, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Latvia and Ukraine). Existing client contacts and relationships continue with familiar account managers, now backed by a larger team and more resources. The transition is framed as strengthening service provision for both employers and temporary workers across construction, logistics, production and technical sectors.
