Faerfield provides executive search, executive interim placements and leadership development. It specialises in the local government, government and third sectors, with a focus on C-Suite and Board level resourcing. Its search work covers roles such as chief executives, board members and functional leaders, filled on a permanent basis.

The interim practice places leaders and senior technical experts on shorter-term assignments. Its leadership development work offers bespoke programmes for current and incoming colleagues, and helps senior executives move into new sectors and roles. The firm says it uses data-driven behavioural assessment alongside research and its own networks.

Faerfield opened in 2019. It reports working with over 100 clients and supporting the appointment of over 350 leaders on permanent and interim bases. Its head office is in Birmingham, and it also has an office in London.
