Engtal

Engtal is a recruitment firm based in Chicago that fills roles in engineering, construction, manufacturing and technology. Christopher Atiyah and Mark Znowski founded the company, which launched in 2017 as a small Chicago team. Atiyah is chief executive and Znowski is chairman.

Engtal says it has placed thousands of candidates across the US and has built partnerships with companies in almost every state. It reports long standing relationships with more than 350 engineering, construction and technology companies, and says 91% of its offers are accepted. The company also owns and funds the Diversify the Future Foundation, which funds scholarships for people from under-represented communities studying STEM degrees.

Its engineering services specialty covers HVAC, BIM and MEP roles, from early modelling and design to commissioning, and extends to leadership roles from management to C-suite. Clients in that area include architecture and engineering firms, building automation companies, design-build contractors and general contractors.
