Emploi Recruitment

Emploi Recruitment is a specialist accounting and finance recruitment agency with offices in Perth and Melbourne. It was co-founded by Tim Ponnusamy and Stephen Lawrence, two former accountants who are both directors. The company says its team has more than 30 years of combined recruitment experience.

In Perth, Tim Ponnusamy recruits from Intermediate Accountant level up to Partners, with contacts across Big 4, mid-tier and boutique practices. Tom Miles joined in 2026 as Director to establish the Melbourne office. He recruits from graduate to partner level, with particular expertise in business services, tax, audit, SMSF and corporate advisory.

The company also produces a podcast in which its founders interview directors of professional services accounting firms about their careers.
