Emerald Resource Group is a Cleveland-based recruiting firm that places candidates on both a direct-hire and a contract basis. It works in four practices: Information Technology, Accounting and Finance, Healthcare, and Manufacturing. Mark Krusinski founded the firm in 1997 and is its CEO. It began with a focus on IT and later added the other three areas. It is privately owned and describes its team as small by design. It reports more than 10,000 placements over nearly three decades.

In accounting and finance the firm places people from staff accountants to CFOs across Ohio and the Midwest. Its IT work covers developers, engineers, analysts and IT leaders for Cleveland-area companies and remote-friendly tech teams. Healthcare placements are clinical, administrative and executive, for hospital systems, physician groups and healthcare organisations nationwide. In manufacturing it fills roles for engineers, machinists, lab technicians, R&D professionals and warehouse staff for manufacturers across Ohio and the Midwest.

The firm says it approaches passive candidates who are not applying through job boards, drawing on a network built over 30 years. It works on a contingency basis, so clients pay only if the role is filled. Its head office is in Broadview Heights, Ohio.
