Elevate

Elevate is a recruitment business based in Rangiora, New Zealand, serving employers and job seekers across the Canterbury region. It says it has delivered recruitment solutions for over 15 years.

It places people in trades, engineering, manufacturing, plumbing, building, civil, transport and warehousing roles, as well as admin, office support, traffic management and labour hire. It also fills seasonal and horticulture work, such as fruit pickers and winery workers, and roles such as forklift drivers and production workers. Its work covers temporary and permanent recruitment as well as labour hire.

Its process starts with face-to-face meetings with employers, then sourcing from advertising, its talent pool and industry networks, and in-person screening of every candidate. It manages the process from job advertisement to onboarding and follows up with employers and employees after placement. It serves towns across Canterbury, including Christchurch, Ashburton, Timaru and Rolleston.

The directors are Dominic McGarr, whose recruitment career spans building, construction, engineering and sales in New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Europe, and Sean McGarr, who has 35 years of experience in building, construction and engineering.
