EG Consulting, which also presents itself as EG Legal, is a legal recruitment agency headquartered in Sydney, with a second office in Cremorne, Melbourne. It was founded in 2016 by two legal professionals, Tom Eckardt and Luke Guanlao, under the name Eckardt Guanlao.
The company places qualified lawyers in private practice and in-house roles, from entry level to partners and general counsel. It also recruits legal support staff, including legal secretaries, paralegals, team assistants, reception staff and business development staff. It helps lawyers move overseas or return home, with connections across Australia, London, Hong Kong and Singapore.
It says it fills permanent and temporary roles and covers all areas of law, including banking and finance, corporate M&A, employment law and commercial litigation.
