Effectus-HR

Effectus-HR was founded on 14 March 2014 by Reimer te Velde, an experienced recruiter who registered the business at the Kamer van Koophandel convinced that werving en selectie could be done measurably differently: more transparent, data driven, scientifically grounded and with fewer commercial incentives. The company sells effectiveness in two forms. Its Consultancy service places an in-house recruitment consultant on a contract basis, an RPO model in which the consultant takes over all recruitment processes and implements the vision, working method and tools the client needs. Its Werving en Selectie service puts the same machine to work on a project basis, whenever the client wants it.

The approach rests on three pillars. Data comes first, with the company describing itself as data driven and basing decisions on facts and figures rather than assumptions or feeling. Psychology is the second, using proven techniques to influence the largely unconscious choices candidates make during both the werving and the selectie stage. Design thinking is the third, applied to every vacancy so the firm stays inventive and solution focused in a tight labour market. Both services carry a fixed fee with no bonuses, which the company presents as a safe investment, and it reports a high vervullingsgraad. Knowledge is shared through the Effectus Academy, with articles, webinars on bias and data in recruitment, how to videos on techniques such as priming, and the book Recruitment Hacks.

Effectus-HR works from three offices: Leeuwarden at Snekertrekweg 61, Utrecht at Newtonlaan 115 and Zwolle at Dokter van Deenweg 108. The team includes founder and director Reimer te Velde, owner and commercial manager Ronald van der Molen, recruitment consultants Sandra Monsma, Mathijn Lindstedt, Natascha Zoer, Hilda Jorritsma and Marije Hulshof, process manager Jenny Kuipers and financial administrator Jantina van der Veen.
