Edulance

Edulance is a Dutch education staffing company that calls itself a talentpartner in het onderwijs and builds its offer around vernieuwend werkgeverschap, a renewed idea of what an employer in education should be. It works on two sides at once, helping teaching professionals find their next step and helping schools fill roles in primair onderwijs and voortgezet onderwijs. The team is led by founder and commercial director Hidde with operational director and co-founder David, and includes account managers, talent managers and a recruitment marketeer. Edulance displays a Google review score of 4.8 and runs a separate careers site at werkenbijedulance.nl.

Edulance works exclusively in education, and it organises candidates by ambition rather than by job title. It sets out four routes: taking a next step for teachers who already have experience and want a new challenge, starting in education for those at the beginning of their career, flexibel invallen for people who want variety and flexibility in the working week through supply teaching, and deepening or specialising for those who prefer complex questions. Candidates who cannot find a suitable role can set a vacancy alert and be notified automatically when new primary and secondary education roles appear.

The company works from Oude Bosscheweg 13 in Zaltbommel and recruits nationally, with a vacancy search that can be filtered within 10, 25, 50 or 100 kilometres or across the whole of the Netherlands.
