Eaglecliff Recruitment was set up in 1985 to provide IT recruitment. Today it focuses mainly on energy trading, with Oil and Gas, LNG, power and freight trading as its main areas. It supplies technology and trading professionals to energy companies, commodities trading houses, investment banks and consultancies.

The roles it fills include ETRM consultants and Endur developers, Python, C# and C++ software developers, data and AI engineers, project and programme managers, business analysts, change management specialists, risk managers and quants. It also covers front, middle and back office trading operations roles.

It works on contract and permanent assignments, and says contractor resourcing has been its primary function for over 40 years. It also offers headhunting of niche skills, a managed service provider solution, payrolling through PAYE, umbrella company or personal service company routes, and market insight reports. Its head office is in Sevenoaks, Kent, with a London office on Stamford Street.
