Disability Works Australia Ltd

Disability Works Australia Ltd (DWA) is an Australian charity that provides a national disability recruitment service to employers. It aims to give all employers a single contact point for recruiting people with disability. It was founded in 2004 by Tina Zeleznik, who is its CEO and previously managed a state-based service in South Australia for nine years.

DWA links employers with Disability Employment Service providers and helps build the working relationships between them. It also educates businesses on disability awareness and employment practices. It says it is independent of the Disability Employment Services providers, and it works with mainstream recruitment providers to raise their awareness of job seekers with disability. Its stated employer agreements include Bendigo Bank, Coles Group, Kmart, Target and Compass Group, as well as the South Australian, Victorian and Commonwealth governments.

DWA is an incorporated national body with employees in offices in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth. Its national office is in Adelaide.
