Design Build Search

Design Build Search is a recruitment agency that specialises in construction and engineering professionals, placing candidates both in Ireland and internationally. It was founded in 2016 and operates as part of the Vertical Markets Group. It is headquartered in Dublin, with its team spread across Ireland, and it also has an office in Frauenfeld, Switzerland.

The agency offers permanent recruitment, contract recruitment and executive search. Permanent work covers individual hires, building whole departments and C-suite construction leaders, while contract work runs from projects of a few weeks to long-term assignments. Executive search can be run on a retained basis or limited to market research, shortlisting and competency-based interviews, and it says it manages such assignments for clients across Europe and the Americas.

Its specialisms are mechanical, electrical, structural and civil engineering, quantity surveying, BIM, project and contracts management, health and safety, and site management. It says its clients range from global consultancies to Irish contractors, and it publishes a construction salary survey for Ireland. It also says it has been awarded silver investors in diversity by the Irish Centre for Diversity.
